What You Need to Get Started

Age & Identity

Be 18 years or older with a valid government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, or national ID).

Smartphone

iPhone (iOS 10+) or Android (6.0+) to run the GlitGo Gliter app, communicate with customers, and upload photos.

Transportation

Reliable way to get to job locations — car, bike, scooter, or even public transit if you work in a dense area. You don’t need a car to be a Gliter.

Basic Cleaning Supplies

Vacuum (portable handheld or car vac), microfiber cloths, all-purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, and a bucket. Estimated cost: $40-60 if you don’t already have them.

What You Need:

  • Portable vacuum or car vacuum
  • Microfiber cloths (pack of 10)
  • All-purpose spray cleaner
  • Glass cleaner
  • Bucket and sponge (for exterior)

Background Check

Pass a standard background check (we handle this — just provide consent). Takes 1-2 business days.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Previous car cleaning or detailing experience (we’ll train you)
  • Customer service experience (helpful but not necessary)
  • Second language (bonus in multilingual areas like Paris)
